It is the reconstruction of the eye ball, lids and orbit. Under this, the following treatments will be given :
Squint
Squint is the condition where a deviation of the eye from its original axis while fixing the focus on given object.
It can affect one or both the eyes.
It is very important to observe this condition in the new born infants, preschool children and school going children.
Though squint is a disorder of ocular muscle balance it can also occur by various other reasons.
If squint is not treated in time before the age of 8 years, in a child especially when there is unilateral squint, blunting of vision occurs. This is called as Amblyopia.
At Sunayana we periodically organize eye check up for school children to pickup this problem at an early stage and treat them with spectacle corrections, exercises, anti suppression treatment (patching therapy) and surgery.
Squint can also occur in adults due to trauma, neurological disorders and accordingly treatment is given.

Orbital Surgery

Ocular Prosthesis
An ocular prosthesis or artificial eye (a type of Craniofacial Prosthesis) replaces an absent natural eye following an enucleation, evisceration, or orbital exenteration. The prosthetic fits over an orbital implant and under the eyelids. Often referred to as a glass eye, the ocular prosthesis roughly takes the shape of a convex shell and is made of medical grade plastic acrylic. A few ocular prosthetics today are made of cryolite glass. A variant of the ocular prosthesis is a very thin hard shell known as a scleral shell which can be worn over a damaged eye. Makers of ocular prosthetics are known as ocularists. An ocular prosthetic does not provide vision; this would be a visual prosthetic. Someone with an ocular prosthetic is totally blind on the affected side and has monocular (one sided) vision which affects depth perception.

Botox Injection
Botulinum injection used in essential blepharospasm to relax the eyelid muscles,to reduce diplopia, to reduce severity of corneal dryness following lagophtholmos and for cosmetic reasons.
DCR
Constant watering problems in one or both eyes related to obstruction in the tear passage
can be corrected by DCR, a procedure which will create opening from tears sack to nasal
cavity. It can be done by either manual method or laser method
